VETERAN'S DAY
Veterans Day, in the United States, national holiday (November 11) honouring veterans of the armed forces and those killed in the country's wars. The observance originated in 1919 on the first anniversary of the 1918 armistice that ended World War I and was known as Armistice Day.
What does Veteran's Day mean to Sam...
Veteran's Day is a day in which we ALL should take a moment to appreciate and recognize those who have endured hardships & breaking points and have sacrificed their families & time so that we might have the FREEDOM to live/breathe and be where we are at this very moment. This DAY is also to appreciate our current military and our fallen WARRIORS.
This is very special to Sam, as well as every year for the past 17 years, she has celebrated Veterans Day with her mom, who is also a Veteran. They spend the who day together eating and enjoying all the events the community offers. Throughout the years, Sam has noticed many Veterans sitting alone eating, or hanging out. She wanted a day where the Community could celebrate them. A place they would not be alone to eat. Please join Sam, ThundarLP, and her Community to be with our WARRIORS!
